Failed Upgrade / IP address not available (even though I can access the device)

Some weird stuff... any ideas?

I updated my firmware via the ObiTalk web site.  The system said the update failed.

What is odd #1.  When I access my Obi202 directly, it says it is running latest firmware (4350).  And, when I try to do a firmware with a file that I downloaded from the network it refuses saying that it is already at that firmware level.

What is odd #2.  The Obi202 network status (***1) says "your IP address is unavailable; DHCP is enabled".  But, the Obi202 is clearly picking up an IP address from the DHCP server since I am able to access the device's portal page (e.g. http://10.242.0.51).  And if I change the IP address assignment in the DHCP server and reboot the Obi202, it picks up the new address (e.g. http://10.242.0.52).

Any clue why the Obi202 is able to register itself with the DHCP server; but it won't make that IP address available within the device?  Is this related to firmware upgrade somehow / did my firmware upgrade really fail?

Thanks,
Craig

Don't have any good answers for you but I'm pretty sure 4350 is not the latest firmware. I have a recently purchased an Obi200 and it is running 4420. I believe the same firmware version runs on all 20x series devices.

I believe it got updated when I added Google Voice as one of my service providers. If you're at 4350 and you (re)add Google Voice you should automagically get updated to 4420. That's what I would try. This version has been rock solid for me with 1 GV connection, 3 SIP trunks, and 2 SIP voice gateways.

If that doesn't fix things I'd try a factory reset because "The system said the update failed" is not a good sign.

The firmware update takes me to this topic:  http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=9.0 which seems to be last updated in 17-Sep-2010.

Is there somewhere to get a later version of the firmware?
