newbie, echo question

I just set up an obi200 to work with Google voice about an hour ago. When I place a call through my touchtone phone, it's clear on my end, but the person on the other end says there is quite an echo. Is there anything that can be done about this?

When I call using Google voice inside my browser, nobody has ever complained of an echo.

Try reducing Physical Interfaces > PHONE x "ChannelRxGain" by 3dB (i.e., if it's at zero now, make it -3).

Thank you very much.  Your instruction was seemingly successful on my Obi connected phones.  So far, the echo that was being heard by the person being called or by incoming callers is now no longer heard.
