Speed Dial Instructions

Where can I find how to set up and use speed dial.
From what I have read, which obviously is wrong is I have gone to the obi web page and set up a speed dial number 3 as **1978*******.   
Then on my phone and dial #3 I get a dial error....  "there is no call route to complete your call"

I may be using it all wrong.... and probably am....

Can someone please give me the proper programming to dial a number speed dial and then how to use the phone to dial.

Just enter a valid number as a speed dial entry and it should go out your PrimaryLine (listed under Phone port).
If you entered the number in the third speed dial slot you would just dial 3# (not #3).

If you wanted the call to be routed out a different trunk you would enclose the number in parenthesis and preface it with the SP slot number as in the following:

sp2(8008881234)

Definitely a newbee... I was doing #3.... 3# works perfect.....
