Have I set something wrong to prevent the number of a blocked call from appearing in the call history? The OBi110 has detected the ring and CID to determine to block the call.

Please post how you are blocking calls.
Also list what you have defined on SP1 and SP2.

#2
Using ...
OBi110
HardwareVersion 3.4 help
SoftwareVersion 1.3.0 (Build: 2872)
A phone on the Phone port
A line on the Line port

Try ...
Factory Reset the OBi110.
Call the Line and the Phone rings.
The call is entered into the Call History.
Set the Line Port Inbound Call Route to {(BlockedNumber):},{ph}
Call the Line and the Phone does not ring.
The call is NOT entered into the Call History.

This also applies to Call Status.

You have to route the call somewhere to have it show in the call history.
It appears your OBi110 is not connected to a router.
If you had a router connection you could route the call to a dummy IP address.
The call would timeout and then show in the call history.
I don't know how to help you without a router connection.

I'm not sure why being connected to a router has anything to do with entering a call from the Phone port to the Line port in the Call History. The device is not connected to a network ?

The OBi110 obviously detects the ring and CID, as it has decided to not ring the Phone port, so I don 't see why it can't put an entry in the Call History. There is an entry in the Call History if I answer the phone ?

I said "You have to route the call somewhere to have it show in the call history".
When you use "{(BlockedNumber):}" the call is not routed anywhere, so it is not registered in the call history.
I agree it should be registered in the call history, but this is how an OBi works.
If you were connected to a router you can trick the OBi to register the call by routing it to a dummy IP address.
I tried to route a call to a dummy IP address without a connection to a router and it failed to register the call.

Try "{(BlockedNumber):li}".
Routing the call back out the line port will fail, but it might register the call in the call history.
I can't try this now.
Please report back how this worked.

Good suggestion ... thanks.

Tried ... phone rings, no entry in Call Status, no entry in Call History  :-(
