Obi202 as an extension to FreePBX - Random DTMF on incoming cell calls

Hi all,

I am new to the VOIP arena, but have been pulling my hair out for the last week trying to resolve the above issue.

I have recently bought an Obi202 with ObiLine and ObiBT and set this up with a Raspbx to reduce excessive call charges. I have setup three trunks on the Raspbx one for the Obi,  one for SIPGATE and another for Tel2. Each trunk is setup to be used by various outbound routes based on call type and time of day.

I have setup my Obi202 to act as an FXO port for my Raspbx and Ph, Ph2 act as an extension.

The trunk to the Raspbx is on SP2 the extension is provided on SP1. The setup is similiar to that documented here https://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=1157.0

The incoming calls are presented from Virgin Media as PSTN calls on LI. The mobile calls are from EE and Giff Gaff (o2) networks, others may also be affected.

Shortly into the calls the recipient only hears random DTMF dial tones, which disrupt the call and turn off received audio or sometimes causes the call to drop.

Can any body please help with any suggestions as to how to fix this issue?

Thanks in advance!

Are you routing inbound calls thru Raspbx? If you are, try routing calls directly to the phone port. This will eliminate Raspbx as the source of the problem.

I believe build 4822 is the latest firmware. Here is the download link:

Hi azrobert

I will do that now. Have now tested this with a wired phone into PH1 direct From LI from mobile call, no DTMF tone. Land Line calls are not an issue.

The FW I have is 3.0.1 (Build: 4915) is that newer than 4822 or would you like me to revert?

Thanks for jumping in and helping on this! Much appreciated!
