Right on, mate, but par for the course in this forum, and it usually doesn't stop one of us with "male answer syndrome" from responding.   

Chris:  describe which model OBi device you have, and exactly how you are attempting to upgrade it (I have to guess, via the OBiTALK portal), and at which step in the process things fail.

If you drink and drive, and get pulled over, you will see the red light and may or may not experience spinning.

Is that what is happening?
