EnableCustomOBiPhoneXml / admin guide for OBi1000 series

I'm curious to know what EnableCustomOBiPhoneXml does.  The help says it "Enable(s) the use of customized OBiPhoneXml".  Google was unhelpful for both of these terms.

I can't find an admin guide for the OBi1000 series and the user guide didn't mention it.  If anyone has a link to the admin guide, I'd love to read it.

I don't think they have finalized the admin guide yet.  I see no information about that feature in the draft.  Aren't those little help balloons always so very useful? lol

Perhaps it has something to do with customization of the user interface.  It would be nice to be able to customize look and feel in a separate xml file for the entire company if you had mutiple devices deployed.
