I am not capable of using the cookie suggestion made there.

I am hoping that perhaps some here have solved the problem.

On my Google Voice setting I see
Google Chat listed with my Email address.
It is not listed in drop down menu for making phone calls from desktop; "Phone to call with".

It was there and working until a couple of weeks ago.

I was thinking that perhaps a needed cookie had been nuked by Ccleaner. But same situation exits on other machines where I do not believe I have run Ccleaner.

Am I the only one here having that problem?

No, it's universal and I'm afraid you're grasping at straws. Get yourself a free DID (Callcentric, IPComms, or IPKall) and configure your OBi for it. Add it as a forwarding number in Google Voice and use that as your "phone to call with."
