I want to port my Google Voice number to a voice provider
Step 1:
Current Google Voice users who wish to port their number will first need to have a VoIP service configured on their OBi. Please log-in to www.obitalk.com for a list of OBiTALK Approved Service Providers.Click HERE to create a new VoIP service account
Step 2:
Once you have successful configured your new VoIP service account on the OBi, make sure you are able to make and receive calls from the OBi first before proceeding to step 3.
Step 3:
You will need to "unlock" your Google Voice number before you will be able to port it to your VoIP service account. Please click HERE for more information on how to unlock your Google Voice number. Note that there is a $3 fee paid to Google to port-out the number and there may be a fee from the VoIP service provider for porting-in the number. The time it takes for the Google Voice number to be ported to the VoIP service account varies depending on Google Voice and your VoIP service provider.
