Premium Support

For only $10/year, OBiTALK Premium Support is an optional add-on providing access to a dedicated team of Obihai technical support experts, free automatic software updates and OBi Notify - a new feature where you get an email when you OBi is offline or any of its services stop working. OBi devices* within their 1-year warranty period receive OBiTALK Premium Support at no additional cost.

To ensure your OBi device is running the latest software and to minimize any service disruptions after the 1-year warranty has expired, it is recommended to renew your premium support during the warranty period. You can also subscribe to Premium Support after the 1-year support ended if you choose to do so.

If you have a subscription to OBiEXTRAs - a service that enables advanced features on your OBi, the OBiTALK Premium Support (and OBi Notify) is included at no additional cost for the duration of the OBiEXTRAs subscription.

  4. Without any warning, your internet service or VoIP service might go down. With OBi Notify enabled on your device, you will be alerted via email if your OBi detects that it cannot connect to the internet. An email will also be sent if any of your VoIP services configured on the OBi stops working, allowing you to take the appropriate action to get your OBi back to work immediately. With OBi Notify, you have a peace of mind knowing your VoIP phone service is always available.

  5. Access to the Latest Software Updates
  6. Minimize service disruptions by ensuring that your OBi device is in compliance with the Service Provider's (e.g. Google Voice) latest security and operational requirements. Each software update optimizes your OBi's performance and oftentimes offer advanced features - in essence making your OBi, a 'smarter' device.

*OBi Notify and OBiEXTRAs are not available on the OBi100 and OBi110 devices. The OBi1xx series devices are End-of-Life. We recommend customers with an OBi100 or OBi110 upgrade to an OBi2xx series device.
