Title: Two google voice accounts with obi 202
Post by: whyohwhy on June 23, 2015, 02:18:56 PM
Hello

I've been using obi for about a month now with my google voice.  Works fine.  I wanted to add another phone for my mom, with her google voice number.  Went through the setup steps and it all seemed fine only that her phone does not ring when I call her GV number.

The current configuration is:
SP1 - outgoing calls phone 1, incoming will ring phone 1
SP2 - anveo 911
SP3 - outgoing calls phone 2, incoming will ring phone 2

Dashboard shows:

SP1 Connected
SP2 Registered
SP3 Connected

I tested her phone by plugging it to line 1 and calling myself.  That worked fine - meaning the phone rang.  But when I plug this phone to line 2, it does not ring.  I can call out just fine with this phone on line 2, though.

Any pointers appreciated.

Can you try a call with a phone plugged into Phn jack 1, and a phone plugged into Phn jack 2?

Log onto your mom's Google Voice account, using a computer's web browser (not on a mobile device), and go to this page:  https://www.google.com/voice#phones

Make sure there is a check mark to the left of the Google Chat forwarding destination.
