Hi Everyone!
I am looking into setting up a home office. I need 10 phone extensions with the ability to transfer among calls and to have incoming calls greeted with option to dial extension numbers to reach various phones.
What equipment do I need? Do I need 5 Obi202's and then link them on ObiTalk? For incoming and outgoing, what company should I use so I can get unlimited calls in the USA?

That is not a home office - it is a small business! Here in the UK the local council would either prohibit you running that size of operation from a home or reclassify the property and charge you business rate property tax. Plus all the health and safety regulations etc, etc.
But to the point. For the switching stuff I'd use an Asterisk server. For the phones I'd be more likely to go with IP phones rather than POTS type phones on ATAs. The OBi1000 series phones are nice but there are considerably cheaper alternatives.
Any service provider will be happy to provide unlimited calls. Perhaps you omitted an adjective. Free?
If I was setting this up, I might consider Voip.Ms as the provider and IP phones. Make sure you have sufficient bandwidth for internet.

Thanks! It is not in my home, rather that is the type of setup. It is not in a location with many POTS lines coming in. What do you suggest with an Asterisk server?
