Title: VOIP and Bufferbloat
Post by: ceg3 on August 21, 2015, 08:16:13 AM
Anybody familiar with bufferbloat and how it effects an OBi?  I ran a speed test at dslreports.com and failed the bufferbloat test.  I am familiar with the term and have heard it is bad for the internet, but I didn't really know that much about it.

I spent all afternoon researching and found a way to tweak and trim my bandwidth just a little and my score changed to an A.  Giving up a few bits might be worth it to have less latency.  We all know latency is the enemy of VOIP.

Thank you for the link.  Unfortunately, I don't use Java.
