Title: obi202 need recommended deskphone
Post by: lageotakes on August 23, 2015, 06:02:14 AM
Can anyone recommend a good desk phone for business?  It could be either a regular phone or an ip phone.  I want to make sure it has caller id showing the name.  I may want it to work with pbx in a flash down the road.  I don't need anything fancy like video calling.
My setup.
I have an obi202 with two phone power accounts.
Phone number 111-111-1111 on Sip 1 and ITSP profile A.
Phone number 222-222-2222 on Sip 2 and ITSP profile B.  this is my fax.

thanks in advance

Anything from Panasonic or Polycom would be fine.

Analog multi-line desk phones are gradually going away, being replaced by IP phones.  If you want to buy something with more future potential, get one or more OBi 1022 or 1032 phones.  These phones have the ATA function of the OBi 20x series built in and don't use an external ATA. Yes, they will work with any SIP VoIP service provider or PBX, as well as with cloud-based providers, including Google Voice.
