Title: Generic SIP provider configuration
Post by: acsel_admin on October 30, 2015, 01:10:55 PM
I have GV set up on SP1, and wanted to set up another SIP service on SP2.

I used OnSIP, which provides the following instructions on phone configuration:

Address of Record: info.1@artigis.onsip.com
SIP Password: xxxxxxxxxxxx
Auth Username: artigis_info
Username:  infohj
Domain: artigis.onsip.com
Outbound Proxy: sip.onsip.com

Obihai web portal provides the following fields:

Service Provider Proxy Server
Service Provider Proxy Server Port
Outbound Proxy Server:  sip.onsip.com
Outbound Proxy Server Port:  5060
Username: artigis_info
Password: xxxxxxxxxx
URI

I checked with OnSIP, they said they don't use URI and Service Provider Proxy Server.  I left them blank, it returned 403 error, I put in "artigis.onsip.com" for Service Provider Proxy Server and info.1@artigis.onsip.com, it returned with "connection failed".

OnSIP said they are not familiar with Obihai phone, Obihai said they are not familiar with OnSIP.

Any advice on how I can deal with this situation?

This should help:

http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=10249.msg67810#msg67810

These two always need to be configured or the OBi device will assume that the relevant spX is disabled:
Service Provider Proxy Server
Service Provider Proxy Server Port

The link above details "getonsip", I don't know if you need that exactly or maybe you can substitute "onsip" for "getonsip".
