Title: sometimes incoming calls won't ring
Post by: fuguansun@gmail.com on June 19, 2011, 06:02:12 AM
Why sometimes incoming calls won't ring? I did not hear anything. Then my friends have to call my cell.

Anyway to fix this problem?

Providing detailed information about your configuration, the situations under which the calls fail, whether the failed calls were recorded in Call History, etc. would be a good place to start.

I have obi100 with GV, configured per instruction. Nothing else.

Most incoming calls I can get. But Yesterday morning, a friend tried to call me, said cannot get me, but to me, I never heard phone ring. After I got my friend to cell phone, I asked them to call me back, I got the ring that time.

So I missed couple times when I first booted my moden, wireless router and obi100 in the morning.

You need to check the call history to see if the calls came into the Obi, this will help eliminate google voice as the problem

From the Obi's web interface (obtain the IP Address by dialing ***1) under "Status" on the left, check the call history.
