Post by: robcraig70 on November 22, 2015, 12:20:02 PM
I read that a tracfone can be ported. Can anyone tell what to put in for a account number? ???

TracFone / Net10:

Account Number: the phone's electronic serial number known as its IMEI or MEID.(*#06# to view)  If the device was BYOP it's the last 15 digits of the SIM card number.  Your PIN is the last 4 digits of your phone number.

Speaking of waiting, typically, the port will complete right at 24 hours after submission.  If there is a problem, the automation will kick it out for human review, which could add another day or two.  Good luck!

It's working.

Tracfone's product ID number is the MEI number with 2 extra characters added.  After removing them the porting
was successful.  For the pin number I put zeros as I didn't know what else to use at the time.

Thanks all ;)

Now I hope to learn a little about configuring.

You will have a lot of flexibility between the Obi and your choice of Voip provider.

Good Luck!
