Title: compatibilty
Post by: Scott2 on February 25, 2016, 05:06:25 AM
I have a PS561 device made by X-10/PowerHouse that detects a sensor trigger and will call a preset phone number over a land line.  Will the OBi200 work with this with this?

While I cannot categorically state that it will work, if the PS561 emulates an ordinary phone in the way it goes off-hook and tone dials I see no reason why it won't work. What is then sent to the answering phon? If a recorded voice message that should be OK. If a modem-like data signal, that could be an issue. (Could not would.)

It does work but the sent recorded message is truncated.   Not sure why or how to fix that.

I have one of those and it works with my Obi200 just like it did with a regular land line.
