Some years ago, our GV calls would be forwarded to our cell phones. We no longer want that feature with our new obi200. Currently when a call comes in on the GV number, the house phones ring a couple of times and then our cell phones also start ringing. If I answer on a house phone, the cell phones stop ringing. What we want is for the cell phones to be completely independent of Google Voice and if we don't answer the GV call, for GV to record the caller's voice message.
Can we do a setup like I described?
The "house" phones are just cordless phones with a base unit plugged into the obi200. Thanks for any suggestions.
Log into the Google account associated with your Google Voice number.
Then go to:
https://www.google.com/voice#phones
Uncheck the entries associated with your cell phones, but leave the "Google Chat" entry checked.
That should do it.

Thanks. That fixed the settings that I had hoped for. I probably would have unchecked Google Chat if you had not mentioned it. Appreciate your help. Thanks, again.
