Title: endless update/upgrade firmware loop
Post by: pleasehelp on April 27, 2016, 01:01:47 PM
i got a message on my device stating that i needed to update the firmware and i need to pay $10 to have obi do it.

like a sucker i paid.

the webpage then said it was updating the device. after a few minutes it said to refresh the page in another few minutes. no matter how long i wait, it still shows a yellow triangle, says it needs to update firmware.

after doing some reading, i figured out how to log on to the devices web portal with it's ip address. i did so, and the device (solid green light btw) says in system status that it is running 1.3.0 2872 which is the latest firmware.

oh, fun stuff, it was running that before i paid the $10 too.

so what do i do?

it's still showing that damn yellow triangle.

The $10 you paid entitles you to Obihai support.  Why not use it?  :)
