Post by: User30 on October 01, 2016, 04:34:28 PM
Hi-

I just set up my google voice mail with OBiTALK and able to make outgoing call from attached phone. But to make incoming call I am not able to find what is my number. Would somebody please tell me where and how to find OBiTalk number to make incoming call?

You need to sign up for an inbound Google Voice number.  If you are located within the 48 contiguous US states, you can do that by clicking the "Get a Voice number" link here:  https://www.google.com/voice (https://www.google.com/voice)

Thanks for response. Yes I could see my google voice mail number including its forwarding to google chat but I when I do make call it says can not make call. I believe somthing is wrong in my setup probably some settting messged up in google voice. Would you please tell me what other things I could do. Right now I am trying to figure it out by myself.

I answered your question above.

You do not have an inbound Google Voice number.  You have a voicemail-only, Google Voice "Lite" account.  Nobody can call that number to reach you.  Get your own number.
