Title: ObiTALK Display Name
Post by: Samobi on October 10, 2016, 02:26:51 PM
I just wanted to have ObiTalk "Display Names" show up on my 1022 when (my boss) uses a speed dial number (from ObiTalk dashboard speed dial settings) to call me.  We both have 1022's and are using GV.  We are on the same LAN if that helps.

Is this possible?

I can't even program him in as a contact - it doesn't recognize him when he calls me "incoming"

Thanks in advance for your help please!!!!!

You can pass a callerid name when calling via the OBiTalk network.

Set the callerid name:
Voice Services -> OBiTalk Service -> DisplayName: Anything

There should already be a speed dial defined. It should look like this:
pp(xxxxxxxxx) or **9xxxxxxxxx
Where xxxxxxxxx is your 1022's OBi number.

Make sure there isn't any code in the target OBi1022's inbound route that will send the call to the Auto attendant.

Voice Services -> OBiTalk Service -> InboundCallRoute: ph

Use OBi Expert to make these changes.
