Title: OBiBT and OBi1062: connect to bluetooth headsets or only cell phones?
Post by: KirkWolf on January 10, 2017, 09:31:55 AM
I have an OBi202 and I want to use it with my bluetooth headset (not a cell phone).

Does OBiBT do this?

What about OBi1062 with built-in bluetooth?
This seems to indicate that it does:

Thanks

Obi200/202 plus OBiBT do not support BT headsets.  Only connect to BT phones to make or receive calls over mobile network.

OBi1062 and 1032/1022 with added ObiBT do support BT headsets. Or connect to BT phones.  AFAIK only one or the other, not both simultaneously.

Bluetooth headsets work great with the 1062. No OBiBT needed with the 1062.  I use my OBi1062 with 3 different headsets:

1) Plantronics Voyager Legend
2) VXi Blueparrott B450-XT (my primary daily desk headset now)
3) VXi Blueparrott Reveal Pro (primary headset for in the car)

The Plantronics can be a little flaky with the OBi1062.  But both VXI headsets are rock solid and the buttons on the headset work for hang up/answer, mute and volume.

If you get an 1032 w/ OBiBT or a 1062, let us know which headsets you have luck with!
