Title: Defaulting to line 2 for outgoing calls with specifc area code?
Post by: willjohn1 on July 26, 2011, 02:19:48 PM
Hello. I'm wondering if there is a way to set the OBI to automatically use the second line when dialing numbers with a specific area code, or if not and as a workaround set 3 numerical digits to act like **2. Thanks for any help.

Assuming your default line (PrimaryLine) is set to SP1 Service:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile A -> General -> DigitMap:

(<**2>1aaaxxxxxxx|<**21>aaaxxxxxxx|1xxxxxxxxxx|<1>[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|<1bbb>xxxxxxx|011xx.|(Mipd)|[^*]@@.'@'@@.)

where aaa is the area code you wish to redirect to SP2 and bbb is your local area code (for 7-digit dialing).
