Hi,

I recently got a Obi 202. I have a cordless phone (vtech) hooked up to it (shows no-line on the phone). My router (RT-AC66U) recognizes the Obitalk. I have a solid green light. However, when I try and do the echo test, I get no response. I tried resetting, and have successfully reset (got the red light), however, that does not solve the problem.

I tried disabling the firewall on my router, and opening the ports. Nothing seems to be working.

Am I missing something?

Hi, welcome to OBi-land.

Perhaps you have a defective telephone or telephone cord.  Try a different telephone and a different cord.  Make sure you plug the telephone cord into the Phone 1 jack.  You should be able to pick up the phone and key in ***1 to hear the assigned IP address read back, even if no service providers are configured.
