Title: Lost the feature of calling out via legacy Google Voice webpage
Post by: MadisonBrian on March 06, 2017, 07:16:42 AM
Hello OBi folks,

I am brand new to OBi, having fired up my OBi202 last night. It has worked well so far. And when I cut the cord with ATT I will be saving $.

However, unless I am missing something, it looks like I am losing a feature I used a lot: I used to copy and paste phone numbers from a web page and tell GV (using the legacy GV web page) to dial them by ringing my landline. I also used to click on contacts on my GV page on the web and dial them by having GV ring my landline.

I am guessing there is no way to keep that feature since I am replacing the landline with OBi via GV. Is that right? Are there other ways to adapt OBi and GV to have some of that functionality?

Thanks in advance for your advice.
