I want to put my old home hand set number as primary number, but it doesn't ring when I call. google voice number, my obi unit center green light is fluttering on and off. I call my google # and the far right light doesn't light up but the computer rings.
I'm not sure about porting my old handset number till I get this going. as complicated as this is ending up being I don't want to lose it.
i'll call the Cable people tomorrow see what they say.. they know im pissed off cause I'm paying for their phone service and IT DOESNT WORK.!! which is why I'm doing this with Obi/google voice.
Your OBi will not receive calls made to the GV number if 'Chat' is not ticked in the list of forwarding destinations in Settings at google.com/voice. Suggest you look there.
