Title: Replacing OBI200 with 202
Post by: Radioman991 on April 25, 2017, 05:01:06 AM
Hello

I have a functioning OBi200...working correctly with my analog phones, callcentric and gv.  My Cisco spa303 works as well.

I am thinking about replacing this with a 202...to gain the second phone port for my fax...ditching my old Magic Jack

Is it possible to backup the 200 cfg, then restore to the 202, so I do not have to jump through all my hoops to make my spa303 work as intended?

Thank you

ISTR a similar question was asked a few months ago and the answer was broadly 'yes'.  However be aware that backups do not contain any passwords so things like your SIP credentials AuthPassword will need to be entered again manually.  Don't know about GV.  Be prepared to configure that from scratch.
