Title: transfering my google voice number to another provider?

I was wondering how I port over my existing Google voice number over to my current phone provider? I contacted my phone provider and they said I have to unlock my number to port over. How do I unlock my number to port over? Any information would be truly appreciated.

Put "Google voice transfer number out" into a search engine.
