Title: Device Setup & Router Settings
Post by: Wireless-Setup on August 06, 2011, 10:42:45 AM
Hello,

I have configured device successfully, and I am able to make and receive calls. But As soon as dial or receive call my wireless network shuts down and my laptop cannot find wireless network connection.

Can somebody help me resolve this?

Thanks in advance.

Any chance you are using a 2.4mhz cordless phone? If so, chances are it is interfering with your router. Try changing channels on your router to see if the problem goes away. Of course if you have a DECT 6.0 cordless phone to use in its place, then you should be just fine as it operates on a different freq.

If you're using a cordless telephone, temporarily connect a corded telephone instead and see if your problems go away.

I am using 2.6mhz GE Cordless phone... Is this could be a problem?

I will try changing channel...

Thanks for the responses.

Changing the channel may not help.

A much better test would be to remove the power from the cordless phone and try a corded telephone.
