Title: Conference calling with two outgoing calls?
Post by: kayrjay on January 10, 2018, 10:11:15 AM
We have 4 OBI1062s which (once connected via Ethernet rather than WiFi) work pretty well.   I'm having an issue with conference calls.

I can add a second call, by making an OUTGOING call, to a conference when the only active call is INCOMING.  I press the CONFERENCE button, make the other call, and press CONFERENCE NOW.  All good.

I cannot, however, add a second OUTGOING call if the other active call is also OUTGOING.

What am I doing wrong?

Is this a stupid question?   I didn't see an answer in the manual ...

Are you trying to make the second call using the same Internet Telephony Service Provider as the first one?  If yes, does the ITSP (or your account with them) support that?

Yes.  Using two phones we can have two separate inbound/outbound/combo calls at the same time.  Themonly issue is getting two outbound calls into a conference.
