Title: obi1062 incoming calls transferred from sp2, no audio after transfer
Post by: CCTS on April 03, 2018, 02:17:24 PM
I'm trying to figure this out...

-using voip.ms as carrier with 2 sip accounts setup there both using same pop's
-sip account 1 is assigned to sp1, sip account 2 is assigned to sp2 on the obi phone
-calls to sip account 1 work as normal

-calls come in on phone 1, sip account 2 (sp2) rings, you answer, press transfer, dial the 5 digit local extension of phone 2, phone 2 rings, you answer, on phone 1 you can tell phone 2 user you have a call, but when you press transfer now, the call is sent to phone 2, it shows as an active call, but no audio.

This issue only occurs on calls to the did assigned to sip account 2 which rings sp2 on the obi1062. Already on the latest firmware.

Any advise?

You can check the call status from OBi Expert. This might give you a hint what is causing the problem. Log into your OBiTalk account. To enter OBi Expert from the Dashboard click on the gear ICON to the right of your OBi1062 then select OBi Expert Config, confirm and select Enter OBi Expert.

Make a Call/Transfer. Click on Status then Call Status. You should have entries for the original call and the transferred call. There should be an Audio Codec for transmit and receive. Are all the Codecs the same? There should be UDP packet counts for tx and rx.

You said SP1 works correctly. Do the same for an SP1 call and compare the results to an SP2 call. Are there any differences? Are both SP1 DID and SP2 DID calls using the same trunk to forward?

Similar issue for me.

The audio codecs DO appear different....is there a solve?
