Title: Permit Incoming Calls via Whitelist, Block All Others
Post by: Busthead on May 29, 2018, 12:15:06 PM
Hello, I want to permit incoming calls from only specified numbers and block all others. I have the Admin Guide and am happy to RTFM but not sure where to start. Please direct me to the best way to accomplish my requirement.

Using a brand new OBi200 configured with Google Voice.

Thx

Put the numbers you want in a User Defined Digit Map.  Separate the numbers with the pipe character.  Check the exact format that CID is sent by the ITSP (eg leading 1 or not) by looking at Call History on the OBi.

Give the map a name eg whi

Example map: (2123456789|5559876543|0111986821389)

Then make the X_InboundCallRoute of the relevant Voice Service be
{(Mwhi):ph},{()}

After adding a +1 in front of each US based number,

(+12123456789|+15559876543|0111986821389)

it worked like a charm. Much thanks.
