Title: Light indicator for GV voicemail
Post by: Moussa on June 16, 2018, 01:20:07 PM
I am using OBi1062 with Google Voice. I can make and receive calls.

I am trying to find a way to make my OBi1062 show/indicate that there is a voicemail in Google Voice account. Appreciate any help.

Hi:

That feature (Visual Message Waiting Indicator, or VMWI) is not supported by Google Voice.  It's assumed that you can use your mobile phone to get notified of missed calls and/or voicemail messages.

OBiTALK devices support many other service providers that do enable VMWI, if it's vital to you.

What about it?  It's a very old set of instructions.  Years ago, for a brief period of time, MWI/VMWI was supported.  It is no longer supported.  It is not supported, because Google Voice does not send the necessary signals to the OBiTALK devices.
