Title: Distinctive ring
Post by: Rukbat on June 24, 2018, 02:38:15 PM
I've set my Obi 200 for a distinctive ring on one line, 60;(.4+.2,.4+4).  That should, if I understand the manual, give me 2 short rings, then 4 seconds of silence, a standard North American 5 second ring cycle.

The problem is that the first ring is a single 1 second ring, then the rest are according to the pattern.  It seems that the CID has to be decoded first, before the Obi switches to the distinctive ring?  Or my cordless phone system has to?  Or am I overlooking something?
