I'm trying to get my OBi202 to work with Google Voice and my Cisco/Linksys IP phone. I've followed the instructions below but it is now working. Ext 1 is Orange and has no dial tone.
One thing I'm confused about is the "Proxy Port: 5063". I don't see that setting anywhere in my IP phone admin configuration.
GV is set up and working on SP1
OBi200:
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile D SIP -> ProxyServer: 127.0.0.1
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile D SIP -> X_SpoofCallerID: Checked
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> AuthUserName: OBi202
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> AuthPassword: OBi202PW
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> X_RegisterEnable: Unchecked
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> X_ServProvProfile: D
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> X_Proxy: Checked
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute: {OBi202>(Msp1):sp1}
The above will route outbound calls to SP1
Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute: ph,sp4(OBi202@192.168.10.100)
OBi202 = UserId of IP phone
IP Phone:
Proxy: 192.168.1.100 (IP address of the OBi202)
Proxy Port: 5063 (X_UserAgentPort of OBi202 SP4 trunk)
UserID: OBi202
Password: OBi202PW
My understanding is that the current OBi20x firmware has broken this functionality somewhat.
Suggest you read the https://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=14121.msg90584#msg90584 thread and possibly wait for advice from azrobert.
What does Call Log show?
Does it show incoming attempt,
followed by OG route?
My IP phone is not registered to the OBi202. So that's where I'm stuck.
Your IP phone will show as Not Registered because the procedure
is for the Obi or the IP phone to connect only when a call is set up.
However, the Obi may show status of
---Registered (server=192.168.1.145:5060; expire in 0s)---
next attempt 0 seconds, etc.
145 is the address of my IP phone.
Port assignments are critical. Recheck all of yours.
User Agent port should be default for the SP you use.
Keep alive can all be 5060
