Hi guys,
I started using Fido internet yesterday. When I connected my OBI202, it's not working. I am using freephoneline. In OBI portal, the status is offline. I tried to change server to voip2,4, neither one works. Could anyone give me some suggestions? I used Bell internet before and now, the OBI and freephoneline both are working fine. The modem model is Hinton CODA-4582U
Thanks.
Dial **9 222 222 222. Do your hear the OBiman reply "Welcome to Obitalk ..."?
Dial ***1 and report here exactly what is read out to you.
Dial**9 222 222 222: There is no service to complete your call.
Dial *1: my OBI IP address192.168.2.30 Your DHCP is disabled.
Where can I make DHCP enable in modem settings?
Thanks.

Expert mode on the portal. Then see "Addressing Type" on the screenshot.
or more easily
https://www.obitalk.com/info/documents/admin_guide/OBiDeviceAdminGuide.pdf page 27.
Dial ***3. Listen to the announcement then press 2 to set the default which is DHCP. If the OBi does not reboot, make it do that by unplugging power for 10 seconds.
Whoops! Well of course that "Expert mode on the portal" method does not work when the OBi cannot connect to the portal because it has inappropriate static address settings.
