OK, so for some reason I had to wait overnight for my OBI202 to be able to "connect" to Google Voice. I stepped through all the screens, and finally my dashboard shows that SP1 is connected to GV. Great.
But, as part of the process, it never asked me to set up a Google Voice number. So while it may be connected, I have no idea what number it's been assigned (and I was really hoping to be able to assign my own).
My goal is to assign a GV number to the phone on my desk, then add my cell to the GV accounted as a forwarded phone. So what am I missing?
Getting a new GV number or porting an existing one is a separate step that should be done before configuring the OBi to work with GV.
