Its no secret that a lot of OBI110 (and OBI100) devices owners were quite put off by the decision to cut support for that product, or at least help people use it to connect with GV.
I personally think it would be a great idea to offer a trade in credit (or discount by providing serial number if that is more cost effective) towards a new Obi device. That would increase brand loyalty and bring many previous Obi owners who have found alternatives.
Simply a suggestion...
