Title: What is the "Call OBi" link in the OBITalk home page?
Post by: TTCP on December 23, 2018, 12:38:29 PM
When I use the FireFox web browser to navigate to "http://www.obitalk.com", without login, I notice a link at the top of the page, called "Call OBi".

If login, then at my device's home page, I also see a link called "Call OBi".

Are these two links functioning the same way?

No.

Try them and see the difference for yourself.

OK. Let's first talk about the "Call OBi" link at the portal's home page, without login.

If I click this link, I get a drop-down. In the "dial" text input box, what do I input?

    * Any OBI number, and shall I add the "**9" prefix or not? or,
    * The soft phone number for any portal-hosted OBI unit, and shall I add the "**9" prefix or not? or,
    * Any PSTN telephone number, or;
    * Any SIP URL?

I tried all of the above. But nothing happened.
