Hello. I setup my OBI200 device with a Google Voice line approximately 2 months ago and it worked fine for weeks. Just the other day, I'm starting to have a problem that the microphone on my cordless telephone (vtech brand) is not working. I can hear the other parties on my call fine, they simply cannot hear me. Any thoughts on how to resolve?
Dial **9 222 222 222 to reach the echo test number. If you hear your own voice coming back to you then there is nothing amiss with your phone or the OBi hardware.
If you don't hear your own voice you need to determine if the fault is in your phone or your OBi/router/internet. Another phone, even the most basic corded model, will enable you to do eliminate or implicate the phone.
Thanks! That was helpful! Using a separate phone revealed the same results so I'm guessing it is something with the Obi/router/internet. Any thoughts on where to check next?
