Title: can I route GV to _both_ PSTN port and sip ?
Post by: seandarcy on February 14, 2019, 06:32:59 AM
I'm setting up an obi202. I've got GV working on sp1, which is routed to sp3. That works.

We also have an analog phones that I'd like to connect to a PSTN port, and have an incoming GV call route to sp3 and ring the analog phone. How can I do this ?

Thanks for any help.

Did you do the following to route calls to SP3?
Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute: sp3

If that is what you did, change it to: sp3,ph

Thanks for the quick response.

Yes. sp3(mygvnumber). (Do I need to include my gv number ?)

So I'd change that to "sp3(mygvnumber),ph"  ?

Does that ring both tel ports ? Can I use ph1 or ph2 to route to a specific port ?

Correct.

To ring both phone ports:
sp3(mygvnumber),ph,ph2

ph and ph1 both point to Phone1.

Maybe it's already done ???

From the Dashboard -> Device Configuration SP1:

SP1: Google Voice - OBi202
Configuration Name                       GV-<my number>
Primary Line for Outgoing Calls     [check]  Phone 1   [    ] Phone 2
Incoming Calls Will Ring On           [check]  Phone 1   [    ] Phone 2

I may not need to change X_InboundCallRoute

I'll check it out.
