I'm assuming that the ObiLine is discontinued. Is there any North American source (preferably Canadian) that does not cost an arm and a leg?

You just route calls between the 2 OBi's. It's a relatively easy setup. I'm using an OBi110 with an OBi200. In addition there have been a lot of complaints on this forum about the OBiLine. Do a search for obiline and echo. I don't know if the echo problem has been fixed.

Yes, that's the solution I'm leaning toward since OBiLines seem to now be out of reach. Kicking myself for not originally buying a 212. I've seen your instructions for connecting the two in the past. Thanks.

You need to answer a few questions.
You can route calls over your local network or the OBiTalk network. Which method do you want to use? The local network method needs a non-GV trunk defined on each box. If you don't have one, you have to define a dummy trunk. The OBiTalk method doesn't have this requirement, but requires a functioning OBiTalk network.
Do you have a non-GV provider defined on each box and on which SP? If not, which SPs are free? Don't answer this if you chose the OBiTalk network.
What numbers (911, 7, 10 or 11 digits) do you want to send to Line? If you use 10 digits, are these limited to certain area codes? My PSTN requires 7 digits for my own area code, 10 digits for other local area codes and 11 for all others.
You need to pick a prefix for non-911 numbers you want to send to Line. You can use anything, but it must be unique. I use "9". If you are only sending 7 digits and/or specific area codes, you don't need a prefix.
Thanks azrobert, I was trying to keep it really simple so maybe I will just go with the OBi 212, from what I read it is similar to the old OBi 110 with a port for a local PSTN line. I currently have several OBi 200's setup with OBiLines but I am not happy with the sound quality.

Change 500111111 thru 500333333 to the OBi numbers of your OBi200s

Physical Interfaces -> Phone Port -> DigitMap
There is a rule: **70(Mli)
Change it to: **70(xx.S3)
Physical Interfaces -> Phone Port -> OutboundCallRoute:
The 1st rule is: {([1-9]x?*(Mpli)):pp}
Change it to: {(<**70:200111111*>xx.):pp}
Voice Services -> OBiTalk Service -> InboundCallRoute: ph
Replace 200111111 with OBi number of the OBi110

You are correct but I'd be extremely reluctant to buy an OBi212. It's a discontinued item (replaced by Polycom 312). It also uses different firmware than the very plentiful OBi20x line of ATAs.
I don't think a lot of OBi212s were sold which could mean getting support and new firmware or bug fixes could be problematic.

Edit: My guess is this product does not support Google Voice. However, my understanding was this product was to replace the OBi212 which did support Google Voice. Color me confused.
