Title: anonymous
Post by: doctorD on April 03, 2019, 06:43:34 AM
I am using an Obihai 1032 with Dialpad. We have a problem. We want to ALLOW anonymous calls! Yes, that's right. You see when patients call us after hours, if they have their numbers blocked, they can't leave a voice mail. Instead they hear, "This line is out of service". I see in the users manual that there is a way to program the phone to ALLOW anonymous calls. I just don't know how I can do it or if this is up to Dialpad. I purchased the phones from Dialpad but their support people don't have an answer.
Thanks

1.  That "out of service" message is not generated by an Obiphone.

2.  AFAIK the default config of an Obiphone does not block or specially handle anonymous calls.

I think your problem is really with Dialpad.
