I have an Obi202 which hasn't been connected in 4 years. It had probably been configured with a static IP, although I set it up probably ~8 years ago.
I tried performing a hard reset (using a paperclip.) I can feel the button being physically depressed. Holding it in, I plug the power in. You're supposed to get a red, changing to green, solid power light and then ~10 seconds later, the green light flashes slowly... at which point you can release the reset button..... I just get a solid green light and it doesn't appear to go through the reset process at all.
Is there some other way to force a hard reset? I'm not even sure what IP range/subnet it's in. I tried guessing the ones I more typically use, but didn't get it.
Thanks.
Plug in a phone. Dial ***8 and follow the prompt.
Awesome. Thank you.
Well that didn't work. Can't get a dial tone. Nothing happens when I hit ***8, or any other star codes for that matter.

You should get dial tone. No network needed, just power. It is beginning to look like your OBi is faulty. Try another PSU just in case it is that.
Hate to admit it, but you're right. It's DOA. Power light comes on and stays solid green no matter what. The LAN light will come on if plugged in. The WAN light doesn't come on at all. No dial tone, tried 3 different OBI plugs that work on other 202s... nada.
Oh well. I have a 200 sitting around at my parents house... of course that's a 4 hour drive, so it will have to wait.
thanks for your help!!
