Or does it work on wireless internet. Many hotels ONLY HAVE WIRELESS nowadays.
And if it can work on wireless internet; how do you secure the calls from being hacked/intercepted?
TIA

And see this link about wireless connections: http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=16035.msg99718#msg99718
Good luck!
Both the 200 and 202 can definitely be used on Wi-Fi if you purchase the adapter. It is interesting that you are carrying a 202 around with you, but none the less it will work but you may find it tedious to get it to register on a zillion different wi-fi SSID's. As far as security goes the Obi is no more or no less secure than any other device running on a hotel network. I use one all of the time on a network at an assisted living facility and it works great for less than $4 per month.
Do bear in mind the warning linked above that many Wi-Fi portals assume you are using a browser and initially present you with a page where you need to enter login details and/or accept terms and conditions etc. (Such login is not the same as Wi-Fi connection credentials.) OBis have no facility to do that.
