I have this adapter and works great with GV. The main problem is that beeps loud 6 or7times beofore it comes on the main dial tone. Why this hapend? Dose this happend to other? I have factorie reset and fresh install from obitalk web. It is very anoing. I bough it brandnew from Amazon. I am using now PAP2 with teltub without any isues.
I suspect what you're hearing is a 'stutter dialtone'. It indicates you have unread voicemail. Once you read your unread voicemail, you should hear a normal dialtone. You can also totally disable it at:
Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> MWIEnable : (unchecked)
