Title: Obi110 (remember them?) and 911
Post by: Lavarock7 on October 11, 2019, 12:09:53 AM
I acquired an Obi110 for a neighbor and need some help. I have not played with a 110 in many years. I don't have landline at home so I can't test this with a phone line until I get to the neighbors. He has landline with 911 service.

Obi110  Updated to 1.3.0-2886
Reset it with the button underneath
Added to control panel
Provider Voip.ms
Use This Service for Emergency 911 Calls  is unchecked

Verified echotest
Verified Voip.Ms is working

Dialed 911 and got "No service configured" error

Is this correct when there is no line connected? I would think I would get a tone or some other error.

That might be as expected. The defaults regarding Primary Line etc are different on a 110 from the 100, 200, 202.

You can test the LINE port and its configuration by connecting it to the PHONE port of any other OBi ATA. Have a look at the Call History on both OBis.

It now shows 911 being dialed. I'll have to configure the other Obi to check its' call history. This looks promising.
