Title: Random white noise on calls
Post by: Radioman991 on October 15, 2019, 11:02:15 AM
Hello:

Using an OBI 200, and has been almost flawless for 3 years.

Recently, at random, calls come in and ring, but upon picking up, all I get is a blast of white noise.  A call back and all works great...until the next time this occurs.

Firmware appears to be the following :     3.2.2 (Build: 5898EX)

I have had a sporadic instance of this also happening during a call.

ADDITIONAL INFO AFTER ORIGINAL POST

Full disclosure, I am also using a callcentric number to enable 911 and CName.  Unknown if this is also a contributing factor.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have had the same issue over the past year.  It is specifically when I call a cell phone.  It rings and loud - almost painful - static.

I have searched for solution and have not found any.  I have tried various settings to no success.

Anyone out there have any guidance?  It would be greatly appreciated.  I am running a 200 on
3.2.2 (Build: 5921EX) with Google voice.
