Title: Obi212 Discontinued per voipsupply.com
Post by: Usetheforceobiwan on December 05, 2019, 10:03:13 AM
Looks like the Obi212 has been discontinued per voipsupply.com https://www.voipsupply.com/obihai-obi212-1-fxs-1-fxo-adapter (https://www.voipsupply.com/obihai-obi212-1-fxs-1-fxo-adapter).

According to voipsupply:  "The Obihai OBi212 1 FXS/1 FXO Adapter has been discontinued by the manufacturer and replaced by the Polycom OBi312 Adapter. For more information or if you have questions, please call 800-398-8647."

Amazon no longer has it either.

Nice option no longer available.  Drats  :(

Still showing at https://www.polycom.com/voice-conferencing-solutions/voip-adapters/obi212.html

Possibly someone at voipsupply has got the wrong end of the stick.  Yes the Obihai OBi212 has been discontinued.  The OBi ATAs have been given a cosmetic facelift and rebranded as Polycom OBi200/202/212/300/302/312.

I posted about this back in October. Nobody has the OBi212 in stock, though Amazon was selling mislabeled 202s for a while (I had to send two of those back). They finally updated the listing a week or so ago to indicate they are in fact 202s. B&H also says discontinued and Newegg says out of stock.

In one of my posts that got deleted (not by me), SteveinWA said they would have stock again by end of November (apparently under Polycom branding).
